DAVID MAIULLO
 Our Music Director
 

David Maiullo is a highly accomplished pianist and music director whose passion for the sustainability of the performing arts led him to found BRAVO in 2009. Opera News magazine has described him as “a pianist of sentiment, discretion and style.” He has performed numerous programs at Carnegie Hall, Avery Fisher Hall, and Alice Tully Hall in the United States and at international venues in Europe and Asia. He served as Chorus Master for the New Jersey State Opera for eight seasons and performed concerts and gave operalogue lectures for eleven years with their guild.

Mr. Maiullo has collaborated with many notable singers and served as accompanist for the Gerda Lissner Foundation, the Licia Albanese Puccini Foundation, Career Bridges, the Altamura/ Caruso competition, and Opera at Florham. He is music director of the Most Blessed Sacrament Church in Franklin Lakes, holds faculty positions at Nyack College and New Jersey City University, and serves Julliard School of Music as coach/ accompanist for the musical theater class. For the last six years Mr. Maiullo has been the music director of Opera Fest NJ and Opera Fest Italia in Tolentino, Italy. He is also the conductor for the Eastern Opera Company.
